A Legacy of Skill and Learning

Each artisan at Parul Handicraft has been trained under seasoned masters. Their craft follows the timeless philosophy of learning by doing, ensuring that precision, patience, and artistry continue to thrive across generations.

From Metal to Art

Working with pure brass, a blend of 67% copper and 33% zinc, the artisans transform raw material from Jagadhriand Rewaradhi into elegant tableware. Over nearly 20 days, each piece is cut, pressed, and hammered by hand, then finished with the signature border that requires meticulous alignment and craftsmanship. Multiple rounds of polishing reveal the golden nikhar shine, while an antique finish highlights the intricate edge detailing. No two plates are ever the same, each reflects the maker’s hand, care, and story.

Claymen — The Soul of Minimalist Pottery from India

Claymen, based in New Delhi, is a contemporary pottery studio founded by Amandeep Sandhu, known for its minimalist and soulful handmade creations. Each piece is crafted by hand, celebrating imperfection and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Using natural clay and traditional techniques, Claymen’s work reflects the intersection of art, design, and humanity, reminding us that simplicity and sincerity are at the heart of true craftsmanship.

The Crossing

You can find selected pieces from Claymen featured at our Paris location inside Galeries Lafayette, where their artistry complements the spirit and design of The Crossing Indian Bistro.
